Questions, answered
Is it really read-only?
Yes. A Code Audit reads a temporary clone of your repository; an SEO Audit fetches your public pages. We never write to, change, merge, deploy, or delete anything — not your code, not your site, not your infrastructure. It's an audit, not an agent that edits things.
How long does an audit take?
Usually a few minutes, up to about fifteen for a large codebase or site. You can leave the page while it runs — your status link keeps working, so you can come back to it any time.
What do you do with my code or my site?
We process it only to run your audit. To perform the review, parts of the content are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic); code dependencies are checked against public vulnerability databases, and SEO audits query Google PageSpeed Insights. Repository clones are deleted right after the audit; reports are kept for up to 90 days so you can retrieve them. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
Do I need an account?
For an SEO Audit, no — just your site URL and an email. A Code Audit currently works with public repositories; private-repository access (via GitHub sign-in) is coming.
What if the audit fails, or finds nothing?
If a run fails to produce a report, you're not charged. If it runs clean, you still get the report — and it states exactly what was checked, so a clean result is backed by evidence, not silence. Our audits are built to say "we checked this and it's fine" versus "we couldn't check this", never to imply the second is the first.
Can I get a refund?
A failed run is never charged. Because a completed audit is delivered digitally and immediately, completed audits are otherwise non-refundable — but if you think a report is materially defective, email us and we'll make it right. See our Terms.
How do I get the report?
As soon as it’s ready it appears on your status page with a “View report” link — and that link stays live, so you can bookmark it and come back. (Emailing the report to you is coming soon.) The report is a shareable web page, and for code audits a PDF.
Who is this for?
Founders and teams shipping fast who want a second pair of eyes before launch, and agencies who want a rigorous, repeatable audit to hand clients. You get plain-language headlines for stakeholders and exact, fix-ready detail for whoever implements the changes.
